Phase 1: The Vision Takes Shape

The journey began with the vision of PCEA Kenyatta Road Church to modernize their worship space. Hence  enriching the spiritual experience of their congregation. This is after Kenya LED Screens Company had done a free demonstration at the church premises months prior. The purpose of this demonstration was a prospective aim by Kenya LED Screens Company at showing the church the need to upgrade their normal 65-inch TVs. This in favour of larger, brighter and much more reliable LED displays. Kenya LED Screens Company is a reputable LED display solutions provider based in Nairobi, Kenya. The first phase involved fabricating a sturdy steel structure. Thereafter, installing two large LED screens, each measuring 3 meters in length and 2 meters in height, positioned at the front of the church.

Purpose of Phase 1: Empowering Worship

The primary objective of Phase 1 was to serve the congregation during worship. The high-quality LED screens each measuring 3 meters in length and 2 meters in height enabled the church to display lyrics, scriptures, sermon points, and multimedia content. Hence, fostering a more immersive worship experience. By having screens on both sides of the church, every member could easily follow the service, regardless of their seating position.

Completion and Handover: A Milestone Celebrated

On 28th May 2022, the first phase of the project was completed, marking a significant milestone in the church’s technological transformation. The handover ceremony saw the congregation rejoicing in the new addition. Additionally, the leadership expressed gratitude to Kenya LED Screens Company for their expertise and support throughout the process.

Phase 2: Elevating Worship Engagement

With the success of Phase 1, PCEA Kenyatta Road Church’s passion for enhancing worship engagement led them to embark on Phase 2. Recognizing the need to better involve church elders, the preacher, and the choir with the congregation. Therefore, they decided to add an additional LED screen at the back.

Purpose of Phase 2: Strengthening Interaction

The second phase aimed to create a more immersive worship atmosphere where the church elders, preacher, and choir members could face the congregation directly. Hence, promoting better interaction and connection during services. The newly installed 2-meter-long by 1-meter-high LED screen allowed these key participants to maintain eye contact with the congregation. Thus fostering a sense of unity and participation.

Phase 2 Completion and Impact:

On the 4th of March 2023, Kenya LED Screens Company delivered and installed the final LED screen. Therefore, marking the successful completion of the project’s second phase. The impact was instantly felt. The church leaders expressing their delight at the heightened level of engagement and involvement during worship services.
